Monday Mischief #31 - Literary Dog

With the amount of poetry slams, author talks and readings Mr. N has been to, he should be quite the literary dog by now. He likes to use books as pillows sometimes.

We went to a book reading a few weeks ago. I only took Mr. N because I knew there would be food and children there and it would be too much for Onyxx.

Mr. N sat patiently next to me while the book was read (granted it was short because it's a children's book) and ignored the chocolate cupcake crumbs all over the floor after I told him to "leave it." He also let various children pet him and feed him treats.

He was a little naughty and did bark briefly at one man but he was looming over Mr. N and trying to pet him over his head which Mr. N hates.

And he even made a new friend!

  1. That's so awesome that you can take Mr N with you!
There are a couple of small independent book shops here that will allow dogs in while you're shopping, but not many. I don't often press my luck with dog-friendly store policies because even if they are allowed, they're often a spectacle and I'm not always interested in drawing attention.
    Love the bandanna!

    1. Yes, Mr. N is much more unobtrusive in comparison! The owner is a friend so we're there a lot.
