A woman was murdered at one of the parks we frequent with Sage. Then a woman died in a motorcycle accident right by (and during) our training workshop. Some friends had parked in the same lot where she died and the cops wouldn't let them leave. And then when I took Mr. N out for a bathroom break, the cops had the street blocked off because there was an accident involving a semi-truck.
The park in question |
Maybe we should just stay inside this next week?
Uhh, maybe.
ReplyDeleteum maybe or maybe try another park?,xx Speedy
ReplyDeleteMaybe this is Mr. N's subtle way of telling you he wants his next trick to be finger print analysis or DNA test reading? He'd look good in a CSI coat... :)
ReplyDeleteYes, he would! And he loves trying to pee on crime scene tape.
DeleteYikes! Please stay away from our area until your luck changes. Wow! Scary, but glad you are alright.
ReplyDeleteWow - your neighborhood is unlucky! Like Emma said - stay away from our neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteWell technically it's not just our neighborhood. This happened in three different areas of the city (one was in the burbs).
DeleteOmigoodness! I'm with Emma and Slim Doggy.
ReplyDeleteOh dear dawg! How terrible. Maybe you should hide inside. LOL
ReplyDeleteWow! You and Mr. N need a body guard! Hope that next week is calmer!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, your luck has to change soon...but murder? Don't think I'd ever feel safe in that park again. There's only so much even a big fellow can do to protect his mistress.
Y'all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
The park is a bit isolated so I usually don't go by myself. It was a domestic violence murder though. Not a random stranger one!
Delete*gulp* We can't walk certain places because the snow is too slippery, too deep, too dirty, too hard, or too soft. But no crime scenes! Yikes! Be careful, Mr. N.
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
Oh my goodness! And I thought getting scratching from a tussle w/ a stupid off-leash dog was a bad walk! Be careful out there! (But hey... they say bad things come in threes, so maybe you're done?!)
ReplyDeleteOh how awful! It's like a mine field out there. Perhaps you should lay low for several days and once you go out again be extra Careful! Shih Tzu happens, don't get caught up in it!

Goodness we live in the city and we don't have that much crime near us! Sorry to hear about the tragedies and yes I'd stay in side for a bit. Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteUh yikes, that's a lot of accidents in your area...hope they stop occurring from now on!!
ReplyDeleteI think staying inside is a very good idea. Yikes...scary!
ReplyDeleteLots of wags and woofs from the crew at Wag n Woof Pets
Oh my Doodle! What is the world coming to Mr. N?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. Not good.
